Alla Prima Oil Sketches Pet Portraits
These beautiful portrait sketches will be created in a method called alla prima, which means wet on wet. This style creates a painting full of life and motion, paint and brush marks are visible compared to a highly detailed painting where every detail is painted to perfection. These Alla Prima sketches capture the essense and the energy of your beloved pet in an exciting way. The painting will be left calculatedly "unfinished" where the body will fade away before the edge of the canvas and the background will show bits of the underpainting. HOW TO START
How to Start the Process
1. Add the Alla Prima Sketch Portrait to your cart & choose your desired payment.
2. Email your Photo
Please email your photo to maxinesheaffer@gmail.com and I will contact you within 48 hours. At that time we can discuss the details and plan you portrait. Please keep in mind that the quality of your photo will impact the quality of the painting. If you do not have the ideal image, don't worry I can work with most things and am able to use multiple images for reference.
3. The Process
After we determine the details I will add your painting to my register and begin as soon as possible. Your painting could take between 3-6 weeks to complete. It will need about a week to dry and then it will be shipped out to you!

I want you to be completely satisified with your painting so it is important that you purchase the correct type of portrait and thoroughly check your review before it is shipped. Please be sure to choose your desired portrait finish be it Alla Prima, Expressive or Exquisite and familiarize yourself with the description so you know exactly what to expect. Your painting will be created custom for you to those specifications agreed upon at the time of purchase. You will have an opportunity to review the painting before it is sent to you, at that time you can request any changes or adjustments, however there are no cancellations. If the painting should arrived damaged, another painting will be created exactly like the first for you to replace it.
